Photo Sessions in Frederick, MD

Are you looking for a family photographer in Frederick, MD? I specialize in portraits using available and natural light. I specialize in portraits of families, children, newborns, babies, mothers & maternity and even pets; including dogs, cats, and horses!

 

My photography style is clean, bright, fresh, and timeless. Sometimes, "light and airy" however not always depending on the environment we are photographing in and the time of year. I am also not a fan of the more trendy filters, that take away the true to life color, or that can that take away from the emotion or the integrity of the image.

Photo Sessions include the photographer's time and talent in planning your session, photographing, editing and preparing final images for delivery. I will choose and edit only the best images from your session, and deliver them to you in an online gallery.

I specialize in outdoor photo sessions at several locations around Frederick, MD. I can also come to your home or other location that we plan for you session. Travel outside of Frederick is also available (please inquire for a quote and more info.) 

I am very comfortable working with dogs, cats, horses and other animals.

I believe that newborn sessions are baby led. I will travel to your home and a newborn photography session can last between from 1.5-3.5 hours. We will take breaks for feeding, diaper changes, and whatever the baby and their family needs! I have a basket, a few wraps, and you are also welcome to incorporate any props that will make your photos even more special. I take a documentary or lifestyle approach but, I also know there may be things that the client wants to capture, so I will creatively incorporate them, the best that I can, and as baby allows.

Each Session Includes:

  • An online gallery site where you can share with family & friends, and download your images.

  • An ordering gallery to my preferred print provider.

  • Option to purchase additional customs items like a custom wood photo print box with usb and high res images. (CDs available upon request.)

How Many Photos Do I get?

I will pick out the best images from our session and edit them.​ There is no "limit" on the number of photos I will present to you. For regular sessions (1+ hrs) you can expect around 40 images and for shorter sessions around 20 images. While many more photos may be taken during a session, I edit out duplicates and process as needed to present the final images to you. Retouching (ex removing a leash from a photo) is also available in some cases for an additional fee.

***50% deposit required to book a session. Remaining 50% due the day of your session.
